Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to Reagan County Criminal History. They apply when a visitor reads a page, follows a link, or submits a query through an outside search tool shown here. Using any part of this private website means that you accept all terms below. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the site.

NO FCRA USE. Reagan County Criminal History is privately operated and has no affiliation with Reagan County, the State of Texas, or any other government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides a service designed for credit, employment, tenant, insurance, or any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This resource points readers to official criminal-record channels serving Reagan County. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. We do not store official records, obtain criminal histories for visitors, conduct official background checks, or file a request or court document for anyone.

Our pages identify the actual custodians, including the Reagan County Sheriff, the combined County Clerk and 112th District Clerk, the Texas Department of Public Safety Crime Records Division, and the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. They also may connect visitors with outside research tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or other automated means against the site
  • Stalk, threaten, or harass a person with information found here
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any system or restricted area
  • Use site content for a hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decision
  • Interfere with site operation or another visitor's access
  • Violate federal, Texas, or local law through use of this site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

You may not use information obtained here or through a linked service to stalk, intimidate, threaten, harass, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. The restriction is especially important for information from the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 governs the registration program, and registry information exists for public safety, not vigilantism or unlawful discrimination. Misuse against a listed person may be a crime.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create a consumer report, credit report, or background check. Our advertising partners do not offer services here for job-applicant screening, rental decisions, insurance pricing, or credit judgments. You agree not to use this website or a linked tool to:

  • Determine eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
  • Make a decision about hiring or continued employment
  • Evaluate a rental or housing applicant
  • Assess creditworthiness or set an insurance premium
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose

For a regulated purpose, use the official process required by law or a consumer reporting agency that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

Site content is general information, not legal advice. Although it describes Reagan County record channels and Texas expunction or nondisclosure rules, it cannot determine how a charge, conviction, warrant, or statute applies to a specific situation. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for legal advice.

6. No Warranties

All content and site functions are provided "as is." We make no guarantee that:

  • A partner search result is complete or correctly matched
  • Information remains accurate, complete, or current
  • The site will operate without interruption
  • Every page is free from errors, bugs, or security defects

Criminal records can change when charges are filed or dismissed, dispositions are entered, or a Texas court grants expunction or nondisclosure relief. Information here may therefore contain gaps or become outdated. No page should be treated as an official statement from the Reagan County Sheriff, a court, Texas DPS, or any public agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links may lead to Reagan County offices, court systems, Texas agencies, legal resources, or outside search providers. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, data handling, fees, or content. Review the destination's own terms before using it.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code on Reagan County Criminal History belong to this site or its content partners. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from that material without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of this website, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or legal actions caused by your use of the site or violation of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. A dispute arising from use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas. Access to government information remains subject to laws applicable to its custodian, including the Texas Public Information Act for government-held public information and Texas Government Code Chapter 411 for criminal-history dissemination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time. A revision takes effect when the updated terms are posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may restrict or terminate access to this site at any time, for any reason, without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these terms may be submitted through the Contact page.
